According to the website of Basketball Federation, this will be Reza azarafra’s first presence in FIBA Asia championship while Amir Hossein Safarzadeh will experience his sixth presence in this tournament.
Safarzadeh, who became a FIBA referee in 2004 when he was just 20 years old, has participated in notable international competitions including 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 FIBA Asia Championship.
Indeed, Safarzadeh has the most number of participation in Asian championships while the current chairman of FIBA Asia Referee Committee stands second by having four attendances.
The 28th round of FIBA Asia Men’s Championship will take place in Changsha, China on September 23-October 3.
